Los Angeles reentry program paid off on multiple measures

A comprehensive reentry program for Los Angeles residents with justice system involvement and behavioral health needs showed promising results on measures of rearrest, employment and housing stability, according to a newly issued RAND evaluation. Among the factors that appear to have boosted the success of the now‐concluded program known as Project imPACT were a coordinated system of wraparound services and a staff presence of individuals with lived experience similar to that of participants.
