GUARA Platform: A Modular Edge-AI Framework for Behavioral Observability Across Safety-Critical Environments
Volume 3 of the GUARA Research Series. This publication introduces GUARA Platform as a modular Edge-AI framework for behavioral observability across safety-critical environments. The document defines the conceptual foundations of the platform, including Behavioral Observability, Operational Functional State, privacy-by-design principles, hardware independence, temporal behavioral assessment, human-centered Artificial Intelligence, and cross-domain adaptability. The proposed framework is intentionally described at a conceptual level and does not disclose proprietary algorithms, scoring methods, thresholds, calibration procedures, internal decision logic, software modules, or implementation-specific mechanisms. This volume establishes the foundational architecture for future GUARA Platform research across transportation, mining, industrial automation, security operations, critical infrastructure, aviation research, and related domains.
