The Lyna Legacy Framework: A Multi-Scale Phenomenological Model for Late-Type Galaxy Rotation Curves Applied to the SPARC Database
This research introduces The Lyna Legacy Framework, a multi-scale phenomenological model for galactic dynamics. By modeling the vacuum as a structured superfluid manifold governed by a non-linear torsion-based operator, this framework provides a deterministic explanation for galactic rotation curve discrepancies without the need for non-baryonic dark matter. Methodology The study provides a rigorous validation against the SPARC (Spitzer Photometry and Accurate Rotation Curves) dataset. Numerical simulations were integrated using a symplectic Velocity Verlet scheme to investigate energy evolution, trace-flux coherence, and effective stability behavior. The results demonstrate that the framework offers a physically consistent alternative to standard paradigms, with structural convergence verified through Hessian stability and Bogoliubov spectral analysis. Key Research Findings (SPARC Validation) The application of the framework to the SPARC dataset yielded the following quantitative performance metrics: Predictive Accuracy (Median $R^2$): 0.9862 (Outperforming standard NFW and MOND-RAR models). Goodness-of-Fit (Median Reduced $\chi^2$): 0.449. Structural Comparative Analysis: The framework outperformed MOND in 133/171 cases and NFW in 91/171 cases. Stability: Global structural stability confirmed through Hessian and Bogoliubov spectral analysis, showing significant reduction in residual variance.
