DIFFERENCE NETWORKS v1.0 EN

DESCRIPTION Document No. 4.7 – Difference Networks v1.0 EN extends the Formal Differentics Mathematical Corpus by introducing a network-theoretic framework for the study of interconnected differences. Building upon Difference Information Theory, Difference Algebra, Difference Metrics, Difference Geometry, Difference Topology, and Difference Dynamics, this work formalizes how differences organize into nodes, relations, paths, clusters, hierarchies, and recursive network structures. The central premise of Difference Networks is that networks are not fundamentally composed of objects connected by relations; rather, they are composed of differences whose relations generate emergent structures. Within this framework, nodes represent stabilized difference states, edges represent difference relations, and network evolution emerges through the propagation, interaction, and recursion of differences. The document develops formal definitions, axioms, graph representations, adjacency matrices, connectivity measures, centrality concepts, propagation operators, clustering principles, hierarchical organization, recursive network structures, and CERELATH causal networks. It further demonstrates how the ADP-TRIFORMER model can be interpreted as the elementary unit of network formation and how large-scale emergent systems arise from recursive difference interactions. Difference Networks provides a universal mathematical framework applicable to graph theory, complex systems, information networks, neural architectures, biological systems, social structures, artificial intelligence, communication systems, and causal modeling. The theory serves as a bridge between local difference interactions and large-scale organized structures, establishing the network layer of Formal Differentics and preparing the transition toward continuous Difference Fields. This publication is part of the Formal Differentics Mathematical Corpus and contributes to the ongoing development of Differentics as a formal scientific discipline dedicated to the study of differences, relations, interactions, structures, dynamics, and emergence.
