Impact of Joule Heating and Viscous Dissipation on Magnetohydrodynamic Slip Flow of Tangent Hyperbolic Aluminum Alloys (AA7072-AA7075/H2O) in a Porous Medium with Activation Energy

This paper investigated the two-dimensional (2D) MHD slip flow of a tangent hyperbolic (TGH) Aluminum Alloys across a vertical slip surface in a porous environment. The stretched surface creates the flow, which is impacted by slip effects. The model incorporates key physical elements such heat generation parameter, thermal slip, thermal radiation, magnetic field, velocity slip, chemical reaction, and Eckert number. The fundamental nonlinear partial differential equations (PDEs) are transformed into ordinary differential equations (ODEs) using similarity adjustments. The shooting method with bvp4c solver are used in MATLAB to solve the resultant equations numerically. The concentration, temperature, and velocity profiles are examined in relation to various factors. Additionally, engineering metrics like skin friction, Sherwood number, and Nusselt number are examined. The findings demonstrate that the velocity pattern decreases as the slip parameter, porous media parameter, and magnetic field are increased. Furthermore, improving the fluid thickness parameter improves the velocity distribution. When the percentage of nanoparticle volume, magnetic parameter, Eckert number, slip parameter, porous medium parameter, and thermophoresis parameter increase, the temperature pattern rises. However, the temperature pattern decreases as the radiation parameter and Nc rises. When the activation energy, chemical reaction, slip parameter, and Schmidt number rise, the concentration profile falls. However, it increases with increasing Lewis number. By comparing the numerical results with earlier studies, the accuracy and reliability of the findings are confirmed. The study also highlights the significance of parameter control for the parameters of heat transfer and nanofluid movement. Among the important practical applications of this research are heat exchangers, enhanced oil recovery, medication administration systems, environmental cleaning processes, and material production methods.
