The Dormant Blueprint: Suppressed Regeneration as a Unifying Framework for Aging
This paper proposes the Unified Suppression Framework — a unifying model for biological aging that argues the primary driver of aging and regenerative failure is not the irreversible loss of biological capacity but the active suppression of dormant programs that remain encoded within human biology. The proof of concept is the recent discovery that every adult human carries a dormant third set of teeth suppressed by a single protein (USAG-1) — neutralize the suppressor and the tooth grows. This document proposes that the same suppressor architecture extends across cardiac regeneration, scar-free wound healing, neural plasticity, and cellular longevity, organized within a hierarchy from systemic coordinators through tissue environment to local molecular mechanisms. It further proposes that bioelectric field coherence — largely unmeasured in current longevity research — represents an underexplored variable that may be limiting the effectiveness of current epigenetic reprogramming interventions. Six specific experiments are proposed, several achievable with existing tools and infrastructure. Drawing on established research in epigenetics, hypothalamic aging biology, microbiome science, and bioelectric developmental biology, the framework synthesizes findings across disciplines that rarely communicate with each other and identifies the questions nobody has formally asked in these terms before. A speculative extension considers whether the correct restoration target for complete biological renewal may be a pre-agricultural epigenetic baseline rather than personal youth.
