The Old Manse, 2 Bunny Lane, Keyworth, Nottinghamshire. Historic Building Recording

A programme of building recording to Historic England Level II was undertaken in advance of demolition of the Old Manse The programme of recording revealed the Old Manse to have been severely compromised by post 1960s changes associated with use by the British Legion. There were no surviving fixtures and fittings, the majority of the internal walls had been removed to larger open areas, the surviving windows had been replaced and it would appear the the roof was replaced post WW2. The western part of the structure was incorporated into a large single storey extension or extensions erected during use by the British Legion and the outer walls in this area were pierced by large openings providing access to and from the extended area.
