Development of Immobilized 5,5′-Bitetralone-Derived Phosphoric Acids for Asymmetric Transfer Hydrogenation of 2-Arylquinolines
In this work, we disclose the synthesis of a heterogeneous polystyrene-supported 5,5'-bitetralone-derived chiral phosphoric acid catalyst through copolymerization. The immobilized chiral phosphoric acid catalysts were found to promote asymmetric transfer hydrogenation of 2-arylquinolines in high yields and enantiocontrol (up to 99% yield and 98% ee). Remarkably, no obvious loss in catalytic activity and stereoselectivity was observed after being reused for 10 runs.
