The Direct Observation Principle

Introduction Clockwise Cosmology is a terrestrial observational framework: its categories arise from the sky as encountered from the surface of the Earth, its structure is organized around the observer, and its scope is defined by what observation — in the broadest and most rigorous sense — can establish. Every architectural decision within the framework traces back to a single methodological foundation: the Direct Observation Principle. The Direct Observation Principle is the epistemological rule that governs which structural categories are admissible within Clockwise Cosmology and which fall outside its scope. It is not a supplementary criterion applied after the framework has been constructed. It is the condition under which any category is considered for inclusion in the first place. This working note explains the principle in full: what it states, why it does not restrict the framework to a single moment of unaided visual perception, how it functions as an architectural filter, how it applies to each of the framework's three primary structural contributions, and what it does not claim.
