Numerical Investigation of the Statix Behavior of HPFRCC-Reinforced Precast Concrete Panel Joints
In this study, finite element analysis was used to evaluate the static behavior of high-performance fiber-reinforced cement composite (HPFRCC)-reinforced precast concrete panel joints. The analysis variables were reinforcement material, joint width, and reinforcement shape. The results showed that HPFRCC-reinforced specimens exhibited higher maximum load and initial stiffness than mortar-reinforced specimens, with ductility increasing by approximately 45-55%. In addition, energy absorption capacity increased by up to 42.6%, and damage was gradually distributed over the joint region. Circular and diamond-shaped reinforcement configurations were also effective in improving stress distribution and ductility.
