From the Definition of the Second to the Inverse-Square Law — The Necessity of Flux Conservation in Metric Logic Dynamics and Its Deduction of the Second Power Inverse Law

The inverse-square law is one of the most universal laws in physics, yet its fundamental origin has long remained unexamined. Starting from the operational definition of the "second" in the International System of Units, this paper fully derives the flux conservation equation of Metric Logic Dynamics (formerly Time Field Theory, TFT), and further reveals the triple logical roots of the inverse-square law. The argument proceeds from three unavoidable starting points: the second is a count of physical processes; gravitation alters all physical processes; the measurement benchmark must be self-consistent. Together, they enforce a unique mathematical form --- flux conservation \nabla\cdot(\gamma\nabla\gamma)=0. When expanded, each term in the flux conservation equation carries a clear physical meaning: \nabla^2\gamma arises from three-dimensional geometric diffusion; \gamma\nabla^2\gamma corresponds to self-referential measurement weighting; (\nabla\gamma)^2 denotes time energy, the intrinsic inhomogeneity of the time field. In the weak-field limit, flux degenerates to Laplace’s equation and naturally reproduces the 1/r^2 gravitational acceleration. The inverse-square law is not an empirical discovery, but an inevitable outcome of consistent local measurement within 3D space. This work systematically constructs the complete ontological physical picture of TFT, unifying mass density, mass and gravitational field as three equivalent manifestations of time field inhomogeneity. A paradigmatic comparative analysis between Newtonian gravity, General Relativity and Metric Logic Dynamics is provided, clarifying the core difference of each framework’s treatment of measurement benchmarks. The paper further resolves all relativistic paradoxes from a metrological perspective, pointing out that all paradoxes originate from artificially introducing a global "God’s view" outside local reference frames. The mathematical structure of TFT is strictly constrained by physical logic with no adjustable free parameters, following an enhanced version of Occam’s razor: no arbitrary mathematical terms may be added without corresponding measurable physical processes. All derivations rely only on basic vector calculus without complex tensor geometry, forming a self-contained, logically closed gravitational theoretical system. This manuscript is a standalone preprint of the Time Field Theory series, mutually cited with the conceptual foundation paper DOI:10.5281/zenodo.20690800.
