A Reverse Optimization Framework for Large-Scale Wind Energy Integration and Residential Demand Response
The stochastic and highly intermittent nature of multi-megawatt wind energy conversion systems introduces massive operational challenges for sub-station grid integration. This paper establishes a novel Demand Side Management (DSM) framework driven by a Reverse Time-Slot Optimization Algorithm designed to smooth utility grid interactions under high wind penetration scenarios. Utilizing the public technical configurations of standard industrial 3.0~MW wind turbines (such as Vestas V90 and Siemens SWT-3.0 platforms), the control structure regulates flexible localized domestic asset grids. Unlike conventional forward-marching economic dispatch strategies, the proposed approach parses the 24-hour horizon in reverse chronological sequence ($24 \rightarrow 1$). This backward scheduling logic preempts nocturnal wind-surplus dumping and smooths evening high-tariff ramp rates. Real-time numerical co-simulation proves that the algorithm bounds net grid dependencies tightly below critical substation threshold boundaries without incurring numerical instability or user discomfort constraints.
