A COSMOLOGICAL HIGH-REDSHIFT OBSERVATIONAL SURVEY WITH ATLAST: redshift, BAO, dusty star-forming galaxies, and the Hubble tension in critical-propositional dialogue with the Theory of Objectivity

This article presents a critical-propositional analysis of Chen et al.’s A Forecast of a Cosmological Redshift Survey for AtLAST (2024), published on Zenodo under DOI https://doi.org/10.5281/zenodo.12202255, in dialogue with the Theory of Objectivity (TO). The study examines the proposal to use AtLAST for high-redshift cosmological surveys of dusty star-forming galaxies (DSFGs), with special attention to BAO measurements, the Hubble tension, large-scale structure, protoclusters, cosmic dust, molecular gas, and cosmic star-formation-rate density beyond z ~ 3. The analysis confronts this observational program with the modal axioms, phenomenic elements, Inducer Effects, cosmogonic theorem, and cosmological Eras of the Theory of Objectivity. The article argues that Chen et al.’s proposal offers a significant empirical-prospective bridge for TO, especially because DSFGs, submillimeter radiation, dust, gas, and protocluster formation may be interpreted as observational fields related to cosmic memory, recursive composition, convergence zones, and radiation-information produced in atomic relations. At the same time, it identifies important tensions with TO, especially the dependence on the Lambda-CDM paradigm, the standard expansive interpretation of redshift, the use of dark-matter simulations, and the treatment of BAO as a conventional cosmic ruler. The analysis concludes that the AtLAST survey forecast does not directly confirm the Theory of Objectivity, but it provides a valuable observational framework for future empirical confrontation between high-redshift cosmology and the modal discipline of objectivity.
