CRITICAL-PROPOSITIONAL NOTE ON THE DEGREE OF DIALOGUE BETWEEN STEVE GIRARD'S ARTICLE AND THE THEORY OF OBJECTIVITY
This article presents a critical-propositional evaluation of Steve Girard’s Test de non-spécificité des analogies : protocole et démonstration} in dialogue with the Theory of Objectivity (TO). The study examines the methodological value of Girard’s protocol for testing the non-specificity of analogies and argues that his contribution is especially relevant to the objectivist demand for discriminating criteria, modal rigor, and the rejection of superficial comparative parallels. The analysis shows that the article sustains a strong methodological and epistemological dialogue with TO, particularly in its critique of analogical transferability as insufficient proof of genealogical, causal, or structural connection. At the same time, the paper distinguishes the limits of this dialogue, noting that Girard’s proposal does not directly enter the ontological and cosmogonic nucleus of the Theory of Objectivity. The result is a dialogue score that recognizes the article’s high critical utility for TO as an instrument of conceptual purification and argumentative discipline in intertheoretical debates.
