Human-Centered Creation Seal: MVP Specification v0.1

Abstract This preprint presents the Human-Centered Creation Seal (HC-Seal), an MVP specification for making human involvement in AI-assisted creative workflows visible, recordable, and verifiable. The framework integrates two prior proposals, Co-Creation Mode and Co-Creation Seal, into a single implementation-oriented model for visual and image-based creative works. The HC-Seal framework defines creation categories, a creator-made Seal, a Seal Package, Human Involvement Indicators, external timestamping, verification status, SNS fallback design, disclosure rules, and future infrastructure such as Trusted Seal Repositories and Creator Profile Infrastructure. It is designed as a verification aid and technical record, not as a copyright registry, legal authorship determination system, or proof of AI non-use. This preprint is offered as a reference framework for discussion, experimentation, and independent implementation. It does not request formal review, approval, or institutional endorsement. The document is made available under CC BY 4.0 for reference, study, adaptation, or implementation, with appropriate attribution. Keywords: human-centered AI; human-AI co-creation; creative provenance; human involvement verification; generative AI; C2PA; digital authorship; creator identity; verification framework; AI-assisted creative workflows
