This research paper studies the relationship between social media and freedom of speech and eхamines both the positive and negative effects of digital communication. The paper highlights how social media supports activism, awareness campaigns, and democratic participation while also discussing the need for ethical regulations and responsible online behavior. The study is based on secondary sources such as journals, books, websites, and research articles. The findings suggest that social media can be an effective tool for freedom of eхpression when proper legal frameworks, ethical practices, and responsible usage are maintained.
