A Contemporary View of Menopausal Hormone Therapy: Correction

A correction is needed for the July 2024 Clinical Expert Series by Levy and Simon.1 In the section on Menopausal Hormone Therapy and Venous Thromboembolism, the phrase, “including medroxyprogesterone acetate” should be removed from the second to last paragraph. The corrected sentence reads, “In contrast, norpregnane progestogens were associated with a 4-fold increased VTE risk (OR 3.9, 95% CI, 1.5–10.0).”
