Ephemeralization as Institutional Design: Fuller's Principle and the DOI Knowledge Endowment as a Zero-Friction Civilization Infrastructure
The DOI registration of theoretical frameworks constitutes a complete institutional implementation of Fuller's ephemeralization: maximum intellectual authority with minimum material cost, zero friction of reproduction, and permanent timestamped prior art. TheYKHC's registration of over 1,200 theoretical papers on Zenodo is analyzed as a case study in ephemeralization-as-institutional-design. V=N/D formalizes Fuller's principle and the DOI endowment is its first large-scale implementation.
