The FILE Corpus: An Introduction to the Five Intelligences of Leadership Evolution and the FILE School of Thought

This working paper introduces the FILE Corpus and the FILE School of Thought. FILE — the Five Intelligences of Leadership Evolution — is presented as a management theory and diagnostic framework for leadership and decision-making in the age of AI. The paper explains FILE’s five intelligences: Augmented Intelligence, Emotional Intelligence, Cultural Intelligence, Political Intelligence, and Adaptive Intelligence. It also situates FILE in relation to leadership theory, management science, human-centered AI, collective intelligence, leadership education, and AI-assisted scholarship. The paper presents the five arcs of the FILE Corpus, including Arc 5 — The FILE School of Thought: Humans + Machines, under human leadership, and summarizes FILE’s main contributions: FILE, the 7E Cascade, the Relational Commons, MAIL / MLT, and HACK.
