DCFMS Gateway Supplementary Technical Note: Semantic Field Localization, Active Attractors, Region Coordinates and Context Construction

This supplementary technical note accompanies the publication: "DCFMS Gateway: Context Compression and Data Exposure Reduction for Large Language Model Workflows" The document describes the operational principles of semantic-field localization within the DCFMS Gateway framework. Unlike classical retrieval systems that operate on documents or chunks, DCFMS treats information as a semantic topology composed of interconnected regions. User queries are interpreted as perturbations of the semantic field. The TPMAF operator performs semantic collapse, identifies an active attractor, and localizes the semantic region associated with the query. Only after localization is complete is context constructed for the language model. As a result, the model receives only the coordinates of the active region and the local context associated with that region rather than the complete knowledge base or semantic manifold. The note discusses semantic-field topology, active attractors, region coordinates, local context construction, information localization, data-exposure reduction, and context-compression mechanisms. Supplementary visualizations illustrating semantic-field navigation, topology structure, collapse dynamics, and region transitions are included. Abstract
