Research on the Teaching Effectiveness of University Specialized Courses from the Perspective of Big Data —Path Analysis Driven by the Competitive Wushu Routine Movement Database

To address the problems of inconsistent standards and slow efficiency improvement in university Wushu teaching, this study introduces the Competitive Wushu Routine Movement Database, developed under the guidance of the Wushu Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, to verify its practical effectiveness as a structured digital teaching tool. A total of 50 university students majoring in Wushu were selected to participate in a one-year teaching experiment. By comparing the results of two successive Chongqing University Wushu Competitions, the scores of students in Changquan, Taijiquan and Nanquan events showed an extremely significant improvement (P<0.01), with Nanquan achieving a maximum growth rate of 15.3%. Technical indicator analysis revealed that students made remarkable progress in movement specification accuracy and performance artistic expressiveness. The experimental results prove that the Movement Database can effectively improve students’ skill proficiency and training quality with strong teaching adaptability and high practical value. It provides a feasible digital path for the standardized and scientific transformation of university Wushu teaching.

Abstract

To address the problems of inconsistent standards and slow efficiency improvement in university Wushu teaching, this study introduces the Competitive Wushu Routine Movement Database, developed under the guidance of the Wushu Management Center of the General Administration of Sport of China, to verify its practical effectiveness as a structured digital teaching tool. A total of 50 university students majoring in Wushu were selected to participate in a one-year teaching experiment. The experimental results prove that the Movement Database can effectively improve students’ skill proficiency and training quality with strong teaching adaptability and high practical value. It provides a feasible digital path for the standardized and scientific transformation of university Wushu teaching.
