The TripleBird Project – Bending the curve of biodiversity. Securing the future.
The TripleBird project builds a bridge between biodiversity monitoring and effective conservation action. Together with partners from science and practice, we generate robust insights for assessing and protecting biodiversity. TripleBird combines three core components: BirdTwin serves as the foundation as a digital twin based on bird monitoring and environmental data; BirdFutures develops models and scenarios through co-design with stakeholders from business, conservation, and the financial sector; and BirdBusiness supports applications in companies and financial institutions. Together, these three pillars aim to enable a comprehensive assessment of the current state of biodiversity, the early detection of emerging developments, the targeted evaluation of measures, and thus the effective support of practical conservation efforts.
