The Nouseux: A Formal and Empirical Research Program for Pre-Explicit Collective Orientation

This deposit contains Version 3 of The Nouseux: A Formal and Empirical Research Program for Pre-Explicit Collective Orientation. Version 3 develops the Nouseux framework as a formal and empirical research program. It introduces a heuristic mathematical model, operational variables, the Nouseux Activation Index (NAI), falsifiable predictions, and an empirical calibration based on published proxy measures from peer-reviewed sources. The Nouseux framework studies how collective orientation can emerge before explicit formulation, deliberate planning, or conscious agreement. It proposes three central constructs: the Nouseux, parainstinctual memory, and the Nouseux Activation Index. This version includes an empirical calibration layer using normalized proxy observations from published sources. This calibration provides evidence of external coherence, but does not constitute independent empirical validation. The NAI remains a proposed and calibrated index pending future validation on original datasets. Version 3 is part of a complementary three-part research program: V1 — Philosophical foundation.V2 — Theoretical framework.V3 — Formal and empirical protocol. The author, François Reynaud, also known professionally as François Renno, publishes artistic and design work under the name François Renno. Abstract
