In the version of the article initially published, ref. 34 was incorrect, and has been changed to ‘Bennett, L., Tamang, S., Onta, P. & Thapa, M. Unequal Citizens: Gender, Caste and Ethnic Exclusion in Nepal (The World Bank, 2006),’ which was ref. 31 in the initial article. Some references have been renumbered due to this correction.
