The formation of ecology in the largest cities of Russia

The problem of sustainable development of major cities in Russia has recently become increasingly relevant. Economic growth, technological development, and rising living standards contribute to an increase in the number of urban populations. Modern cities with high-rise architecture and densely built-up areas are rapidly developing. The modern urban structure with active traffic flows and energy consumption by buildings adds to the formation of harmful emissions into the air. Typical high-rise architecture and closed planning of blocks worsens the aeration regime of the territories. . As a result, stable zones with a high concentration of polluting emissions form in the active surface of the residential environment. This article analyzes the dynamics of growth in the number of urban populations in Russia. The relationship between population growth and its impact on the formation of anthropogenic factors and the formation of an urban “heat island” is determined. Using the example of a courtyard space with typical development in Krasnodar, field studies were conducted and the role of insolation in the formation of air exchange and improvement of the ecology of the urban environment was explored.
