The Residual Principle of the Universe

The Residual Principle of the Universe This work proposes that circulation is sustained by residual difference rather than perfect equilibrium. Across independent domains—human social layers, galactic rotation curves, planetary resonance, and Earth's interior dynamics—a common pattern appears: difference is retained, retention saturates, and the remaining difference continues circulation. The observed convergence between the Dunbar retention ratio (0.682) and the galactic leakage ratio (0.687) is not presented as proof of identity, but as an empirical observation motivating further investigation.

Abstract

The Residual Principle of the Universe This work proposes that circulation is sustained by residual difference rather than perfect equilibrium. Across independent domains—human social layers, galactic rotation curves, planetary resonance, and Earth's interior dynamics—a common pattern appears: difference is retained, retention saturates, and the remaining difference continues circulation. The observed convergence between the Dunbar retention ratio (0.682) and the galactic leakage ratio (0.687) is not presented as proof of identity, but as an empirical observation motivating further investigation.
