The Q-Object Framework: From Discrete Exceptional Pocket Geometry to Emergent Matrix Superfluids
We present the Q-Object Framework, a unified theoretical proposal in which the Standard Model gauge structure, general relativity, and dark-sector phenomenology emerge as collective phenomena from a multi-component relativistic matrix superfluid. This version (v8.0) explicitly incorporates Tier 1 (Discrete Exceptional Pocket Geometry), establishing the microscopic, Planck-scale substrate of the framework. The continuous matrix superfluid of previous versions is proven to be the emergent, long-wavelength description of a discrete pocket network defined on an $\mathrm{E}_8$ root lattice. The internal degrees of freedom of each pocket are governed by the exceptional Jordan algebra $\mathcal{J}_3(\mathbb{O})$—the unique 27-dimensional algebra of $3\times3$ Hermitian matrices over the octonions $\mathbb{O}$. What varies dynamically from site to site is the orientation of this structure, valued in the octonionic projective plane $\mathbb{O}\mathrm{P}^2 \cong \mathrm{F}_4/\mathrm{Spin}(9)$. At length scales much larger than the Planck length ($L \gg R_0$), a continuum limit is rigorously recovered. The fundamental continuous order parameter is a complex $4\times5$ matrix field $\Sigma^\mu_A$ with a vierbein factorization that separates emergent spacetime geometry from the internal $\mathrm{SU}(5)$ structure. The framework naturally unifies the geometry through the grand subgroup chain $\mathrm{E}_8 \supset \mathrm{E}_6 \supset \mathrm{SO}(10) \supset \mathrm{SU}(5) \supset G_{\mathrm{SM}}$. Key Results & Microscopic Origins Discrete Foundation (New in v8.0): Definition of a full adjacency structure combining spatial $\mathrm{E}_8$ nearest-neighbors and algebraic Fano-plane triples. The intrinsic non-associativity of three-pocket interactions provides the microscopic origin of the non-associative portal coupling corrections. Two-Stage Dynamical Symmetry Breaking: $\mathrm{SU}(5) \rightarrow G_{\mathrm{SM}}$ at the GUT scale ($\sim 2\times10^{16}$ GeV) and electroweak breaking at $\sim 348$ GeV, emerging directly from the uniform alignment ground state of the pocket network. Derivation of the Higgs-Portal Coupling: $\xi \approx 2.004 \pm 0.025$ derived strictly from $\mathrm{E}_6$ branching rules and Fano-plane combinatorics at the $\mathcal{J}_3(\mathbb{O})$ level (requiring no PDG input). Emergent Gravity: Newton’s constant $G = 1/M_{\mathrm{Pl}}^2$ emerges from the Rindler path integral of the superfluid phase in the continuum limit. Topological Origin of Three Generations: Exactly three fermion generations are counted via the Atiyah–Singer index theorem, where the $\mathbb{C}\mathrm{P}^2$ factor of the non-Abelian vortex moduli space is shown to be structurally inherited from the $\mathbb{O}\mathrm{P}^2$ orientation space of the discrete pocket network ($\chi(\mathbb{C}\mathrm{P}^2) = 3$). Excitation Spectrum & UV Finiteness: Explicit identification of coherent alignment waves (massless gauge bosons), topological defects (fermions), and amplitude fluctuations (the Higgs boson) within the lattice Hamiltonian. The physical $\mathrm{E}_8$ lattice spacing provides a natural, intrinsic UV cutoff at the Planck scale. The Submission Includes: Main Manuscript (v8.0): Core framework updating the continuum matrix superfluid equations and providing the explicit recovery theorems from the discrete Tier 1 pocket geometry. Reviewer Response Supplement: Addresses the explicit variational derivation of Yang–Mills equations from the Q-Object action, a complete transparency audit (assumed vs. derived parameters), 3D lattice confinement, portal coupling justification, and extensive literature comparison. Quantization Supplement: Detailed treatment of the path-integral measure, Refined Gribov-Zwanziger (RGZ) gauge fixing to resolve Gribov ambiguities, BRST symmetry, and a constructive continuum limit outline using Osterwalder–Schrader and Glimm–Jaffe cluster expansions. Epistemic Status: Several foundational quantitative results ($\xi$, $G_{\mathrm{SM}}$ selection criterion, three-generation count) are topologically protected or strictly derived from the underlying octonionic/exceptional structure and minimal lattice postulates. Remaining couplings are matched to low-energy experimental data or estimated as Wilsonian effective field theory parameters below the Planck scale. Zenodo DOI: 10.5281/zenodo.20582135
