R-layer Mode Theory XVI: Coupling Between R-layer and Matter Fields — Unified Dynamics of Tension, Information, and Reality

R-layer Mode Theory (RLMT) XVI: develops a unified framework describing how the R-layer tension field couples to matter fields and generates the experienced structure of physical reality. Building on the dynamical foundations established in earlier volumes, this work treats matter, gravity, and information as different manifestations of a single underlying tension field defined on the R-layer. The volume introduces a consistent mapping from tension modes to effective matter configurations, expressed through an action of the form: Seff[T,ϕ]=ST[T]+Sϕ[ϕ]+Sint[T,ϕ] where matter fields ϕ emerge as stable, localized tension patterns. Key concepts developed in this volume include: Information flow vs. information fixation as dynamical processes in the tension field Hierarchy of modes (quantum → matter → gravity) as successive coarse-grainings of tension Tension wells as attractors that stabilize macroscopic reality Reality as stabilized tension, dissolving the traditional dualism between matter and field Information as structure, not substance Although more conceptual than previous volumes, Volume XVI also outlines possible observational and experimental signatures, including deviations from standard field theory, physical bases for irreversibility, and tension‑based interpretations of decoherence and memory formation. This volume serves as a bridge between field theory, information theory, and a minimal, physically grounded philosophy of reality, preparing the foundation for Volume XVII, which will extend the framework to collective information structures and shared realities.
