Who Would Have Thunk It: Evaluator-Gated Operational Unfolding of Mathematical Objects into Multi-Dimensional Renderings

This preprint proposes a class of pure mathematical objects that behave like thunks: fully specified by their written form, yet inert until an evaluator supplies two things the text cannot contain — attention and intention. Reading such an object does not render it. Rendering is an operational unfolding of the pure object into applied, multi-dimensional structure — topology, geometry, manifolds — with time and the higher dimensions available as further transformation. The gate that holds the object suspended is real only for an evaluator that could withhold; where the evaluator cannot withhold, whether a processor that cannot decline or a mind that cannot help but visualize, the gate vanishes and the object renders on contact. The paper sets out the premise, argues why the missing factors cannot be written into the formula, works a concrete example — the circle, from pure locus to rendered solid — treats the evaluator's capacity and vantage point as part of the rendering, locates the idea against intuitionism (Brouwer's Creating Subject) and constructive type theory (Curry–Howard), and gives a minimal formalism. The motivation is practical as well as theoretical: a mind with dyscalculia may reach mathematics through rendering it cannot reach through operations alone.
