Won't They Do It
This essay examines how public testimony about answered spiritual work can turn gratitude into a ledger. It argues that material help is real and often necessary, but that spiritual worth cannot be measured by visible return. Against the logic of spiritual ROI, it proposes sacred obligation, righteous circulation, and discernment under hunger as better measures of religious life.
