Fin‐Tech Adoption and Dual Sustainability: The Mediating Role of Green Finance and Circular Economy in Indian <scp>MSMEs</scp>

ABSTRACT Fin‐tech adoption (FA), green finance (GF), and circular economy practices (CEP) are widely recognized as key catalysts of sustainable development. Guided by the Dynamic Capability Theory (DCT), this study investigates the influence of FA on economic sustainability performance (ECSP) and environmental sustainability performance (ENSP) in Indian Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Using survey‐based cross‐sectional data from 200 MSMEs across India, collected through non‐probability judgmental sampling, the research employs validated measurement scales. Sampling adequacy was validated through G* Power analysis and previous hybrid SEM‐ANN studies was underpinning Artificial Neural Network (ANN) application with limited sample sizes. To examine both causal associations and non‐linear predictive impact, the research unifies the PLS‐SEM‐ANN‐IPMA framework employing a 90:10 training–testing partition. The outcomes indicate that FA directly advances ECSP, while CEP and GF substantially mediate the FA‐ECSP and FA‐ENSP associations. Additionally, FA appears as the most influential predictor, whereas CEP and GF emerge as the dominant predictors of ECSP and ENSP, respectively. The outcomes underscore FA, CEP, and GF as complementary dynamic capabilities facilitating MSMEs to accomplish dual sustainability objectives and facilitating environmentally oriented managerial and policy decisions.
