Perfect Places
"Perfect Places" is a creative nonfiction honors thesis about coming-of-age in the Internet age. Weaving travel narratives, family history, pop culture, music criticism and memoir, this essay collection is a meditation on postmodern girlhood and what it means to be part of the "Anxious Generation." The title, which I owe to Lorde's 2017 album, Melodrama, reflects a subterranean theme about the sacred and the unexpected places we go to find it.
