Role of AI in Healthcare Applications

This review paper examines the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern healthcare applications. It discusses key AI technologies such as Machine Learning and Deep Learning and their use in disease detection, medical imaging, predictive healthcare, drug discovery, personalized medicine, wearable health devices, virtual health assistants, and robotic surgery. The paper also reviews recent developments from 2023–2025, including Med-PaLM 2, federated learning, and generative AI in medicine.
