A Conjecture of Matter: Time Effect as an Extension of the Time-Dilation Force Theory

This paper presents an extension of the time-dilation force theory, advancing the concept of time-dilation force into that of time effect. This paper proposes that time is not an a priori physical dimension of the universe, but a physical effect derived from the motion of matter—the time effect. The motion of matter gives rise to the time-dilation force, and the continuous dilation of time evolves into the time effect. Countless time-effect regions couple with one another, forming the unified temporal system of the universe that is perceptible to human beings. This paper, through an idealized thought experiment of a moving particle, deduces the formation mechanism of time-effect regions. It further argues that the time effect varies dynamically with the state of material motion, and possesses the dual attributes of expansion and compression-discreteness. The expansion effect drives the spatial expansion of the universe and dominates the evolution of entropy increase; the essence of the compression effect is decomposition and discretization, which constrains the stable existence of matter. This paper establishes the correspondence between the time effect and thermal energy, proposes the core principle that "the time effect of each material body is unique," and distinguishes between the ontological space of the absolute vacuum and the material-containing space of human cognition. This paper further argues that the time effect is the sum total of the manifestations of all forces—gravitation, electromagnetism, the strong force, and the weak force are all different manifestations of the time effect under different material properties, at different scales, and in different coupling modes. Simultaneously, the time effect is also the result of the combined action of all forces, thereby forming a dual-cycle closed loop: material motion generates the time effect, the time effect manifests as forces, the forces enhance material motion, and the enhanced material motion further strengthens the time effect. Within this dual cycle, the universe irreversibly expands and its entropy increases. This paper constructs a new theoretical system centered on matter, with motion generating time, the effect unifying forces, and driven by a dual cycle. This paper is a theoretical attempt, and its core value lies in proposing new directions for testable investigation. (This paper aims to provide a new idealized abstract model for the exploration of spacetime structure. This model is a natural philosophy conjecture of matter, and has not yet undergone independent experimental verification. It may therefore be revised or overturned by future rigorous testing. The author makes this conjecture publicly available and earnestly invites colleagues in physics and the philosophy of science to rigorously examine its logical coherence and physical reality.)
