In-plane anomalous Hall Effect in hard magnetic Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2
Recent in-plane anomalous Hall effect induced by external magnetic field drawn significant attention. The magnetic topological Weyl semimetal is a good platform to investigated the intrinsic in-plane anomalous Hall effect. The magnetic field induced Hall response in magnetic materials remained undetected. Here, we report field induced in-plane anomalous Hall effect in typical Weyl semimetal Co3Sn2S2 with hard ferromagnetic properties. We carried out a proper method to separate the pure in-plane anomalous Hall signal. The in-plane anomalous Hall resistivity and conductivity are approximately 0.1 μΩ·cm, and 31.6 S·cm-1 at 2 K and 9 T. It features a distinct three-fold symmetry, and follows a ~B³ dependence. We argued that intrinsic mechanism is the main origin. Our results can give a broader understanding of the in-plane anomalous Hall response in hard ferromagnetic materials.
