Scientific Ontology (SO): Public Edition v2.2.0

Scientific Ontology (SO): Public Edition v2.2.0 is a public-facing conceptual archive for Existence-Boundary Theory / Scientific Ontology. This release expands the public repository structure by adding an Applications layer and by clarifying the relationship between AI boundary ethics, personality AI, meaning formation, and higher-claim Research Notes. Major updates in v2.2.0 include: addition of 04_Applications/ as a public-facing applications layer; addition of 04_Applications/Personality_AI/Meaning_As_Return_Orbit.md; addition of 05_Research_Notes/AI_Personality_Notes/History_Loop_Radius_and_Return_Stability.md; reorganization of AI-related Research Notes, including logical sandbox and negentropy models; clarification of personality AI as response structure rather than tone, roleplay, or character setting; clarification of meaning as return orbit in personality AI applications; addition of 00_Overview/Scientific_Ontology_and_Science.md, a public position statement on science as a heuristic system; improved Research Notes README and index structure. This release is a conceptual and methodological archive. It is not an empirical scientific theory, AI runtime package, implementation specification, or disclosure of private core materials. Private runtime materials, persona core parameters, operational thresholds, private evaluation maps, heat logs, and detailed simulation specifications remain outside the public repository.
