Atomic structures and physical properties at interfaces of Ti-based oxides
Interface research occupies a central role in materials science, condensed matter physics, chemistry, and engineering applications. Its significance arises from the unique structures and multifunctional behavior of interfaces, which often exceed the performance of single-component materials. This work presents a comprehensive review of recent advances in the interplay between structures and properties at interfaces in TiO 2 , LaTiO 3 and SrTiO 3 , including heterointerfaces, grain boundaries, and domain boundaries. It aims to bridge fundamental understanding with applicationoriented objectives, offering a reference for the rational design of next-generation interface-engineered materials and addressing existing performance limitations through structure-guided optimization strategies.
