Identity-Continuity in Human Psychic Transformation
This technical note develops a human application layer for transition-level identity-continuity evaluation within the Human Psychic Processing / Psychological Architecture branch of GTCS. Generic identity continuity is not redefined. Readiness, definedness, candidate-versus-realized evaluation stage, and the positive or negative transition-level identity-continuity value remain owned by Identity-Continuity Domains in Cognitive Architectures. The present paper introduces a provenance-preserving alignment between an exact human transformation or updating referent and an exact Core identity-evaluation record. A complete human application is available only when that alignment is positive, the imported Core evaluation is ready, and the Core identity-continuity classifier is defined. The imported identity-continuity value is preserved unchanged. Human self-referential, role-related, narrative, moral, future-oriented, affective, accessibility, overload-linked, or updating evidence may be assessed through a separate readout architecture, but such evidence cannot overwrite the Core value. The Core identity-continuity classification and human readout are therefore distinct surfaces. A positive Core value does not imply a positive self-recognition-like human readout, and a positive human readout does not establish positive transition-level identity continuity. Candidate-relative and realized-transition identity evaluations remain separate. A positive candidate-relative identity-continuity value does not imply structural realization and does not determine the realized-transition value. Structural transformation, local and gradual updating, configuration-level identity stabilization, regulatory identity attraction, and identity-bounded continuation remain formally distinct. Identity continuity is not introduced as a universal admissibility gate, transformation mechanism, persistence relation, trajectory-dependent property, protective function, clinical status, or future-success predictor. The resulting construction provides a human interpretation and evidence surface around exact transition-level identity evaluations while preserving the ownership and inferential boundaries of the underlying architecture.
