Abstract

The article presents the problem of studying the communicative orientation of a manager and its connection with the social-psychological climate in a work team. The article highlights features of the team climate in relation to such types of the manager’s communicative orientation as authoritarian, conformal, indifferent, and manipulative types. The authors show that optimizing the socio-psychological climate is a psychological and ergonomic task of taking into account the social and psychological potential of the group and the individual, and creating a more fulfilling lifestyle for members of the production group. The manager’s communicative orientation contributes to interacting in the work team, determines the course and results of joint activities, and satisfaction with the results and process of joint work.
