STATE OF INTESTINAL MICROBIOCENOSIS AND BIOCHEMICAL BLOOD PARAMETERS OF CHICKENS UNDER FEEDING WITH FEED CONTAMINATED BY BIOTIC FACTORS AND THE USE OF CAMBRIAN CLAY
The effect of Cambrian clay on productive performance, intestinal microbiocenosis, and biochemical blood parameters of chickens under feeding with low-toxic feed was investigated. It was established that feeding lowtoxic feed resulted in a 23.2% decrease in body weight, a 3.06-fold reduction in average daily gain, and a 1.59 fold deterioration in feed conversion. Chickens developed intestinal dysbiosis accompanied by an increase in opportunistic microorganisms and suppression of Lactobacillus and Bifidobacterium. Biochemical alterations were characterized by a 12.9% decrease in total protein and a 22.2% decrease in globulins, as well as a 57.8% increase in cholesterol concentration and a 60.0% increase in ALT activity. The use of Cambrian clay improved productive performance, partially normalized intestinal microbiocenosis, and stabilized the biochemical status of chickens, indicating the prospects of its use as a natural enterosorbent in poultry farming.
