Optimization of aerated concrete composition with local materials: effects on density and strength

The article presents the gas formation reaction and properties of the aerated concrete mixture, along with the physical and mechanical properties of the cellular concrete for the studied compositions. Additives from BASF Glenium 111 (Germany), C-3 (Russia) and POLIMIX (Uzbekistan) also influence the change in the physico-mechanical properties of aerated concrete. As a result of the search experiments, aerated concrete with density values ranging from ρ = 616 to ρ = 1390 kg/m 3 and strength from 1.95 to 2.96 MPa were obtained. Keywords: gas formation, cellular concrete, fly ash, porosity, aerated concrete, expansion, strength.
