Digital Semantic Armor (DSA): A Multidimensional Model of Institutional Sustainability
This article proposes a multidimensional framework of institutional sustainability referred to as Digital Semantic Armor (DSA), intended for organisations operating under conditions of systemic uncertainty, interdisciplinary coordination, and long-term strategic complexity. In contrast to predominantly finance-oriented governance models, the proposed approach conceptualises the organisation as a dynamic interaction of three interdependent axes: material sustainability, procedural coordination, and ethical-reputational cohesion. These dimensions are integrated through a central mechanism of semantic coherence. It is argued that institutional resilience depends not exclusively upon financial stability but upon the degree of alignment between economic incentives, organisational procedures, and collective motivational structures. The model demonstrates how semantic coherence may reduce transactional friction, strengthen trust among participants, improve organisational adaptability, and increase long-term sustainability. The framework has been preliminarily examined through an interdisciplinary rehabilitation and institutional coordination project and may serve as a methodological basis for strategic auditing, grant planning, and the evaluation of complex cooperative systems.
