The Diagnostic Flow Framework: Engineering-Based Classification of Cardiovascular Diseases Through Multi-Domain Feature Architecture
The Diagnostic Flow Framework (DFF) is a multi-domain cardiovascular disease classification architecture that integrates Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical, and Hydraulic diagnostic features into a unified scoring framework. This review paper presents the conceptual design, diagnostic feature taxonomy, domain-weight matrix, severity classification methodology, and comparison with existing cardiovascular scoring systems. The framework is intended to support clinical decision support systems, medical education, and future explainable artificial intelligence applications in cardiovascular healthcare. The work is supported by the accompanying Cardiovascular Disease Taxonomy and Scoring Dataset available through Zenodo.
