Mathematical Derivation of Neutrino Mass Based on Ground-State Vacuum-Velocity Stratification-Energy Confinement Model

Starting from three fundamental postulates of the unified cosmic model, this paper derives the analytical mass formula for three neutrino mass eigenstates from the universal particle mass equation. Neutrinos are interpreted as ultra-loose topological bound states of superluminal energy wave bodies with group velocity marginally above the speed of light, which naturally yields their tiny rest mass without invoking the seesaw mechanism or Majorana fermion hypothesis. With experimental neutrino mass-squared splittings from global oscillation data as fixed boundary conditions, we solve the dimensionless superluminal excess parameters \(\delta_{1,2,3}\) corresponding to three mass eigenstates, compute absolute neutrino masses for normal hierarchy (NH) and inverted hierarchy (IH) respectively. All resultant neutrino masses satisfy the cosmological upper bound on summed neutrino mass from Planck+BOSS and the effective mass limit from the KATRIN tritium beta-decay experiment. The physical origin of two distinct neutrino mass hierarchies and the intrinsic mechanism of neutrino flavor oscillation are consistently explained within the model’s theoretical framework. No artificially adjustable free parameters are introduced throughout the derivation.
