SYNTHESIS AND STUDY OF CADMIUM THIOARSENITE AND THIOARSENATE COMPOUNDS BY HYDROCHEMICAL METHOD

This study presents the study of the conditions for the preparation of cadmium thioarsenite and thioarsenate compounds by the hydrochemical method. The aim is to synthesize new compounds in the cadmium arsenicsulfide system and determine their crystal structure, thermal stability, and optical-electrical properties. Cadmium thioarsenite and thioarsenate compounds can be successfully synthesized by the hydrochemical method. These compounds exhibit similar properties to copper thioarsenates in terms of thermal stability, but the degree of crystallinity and morphological structure vary depending on the synthesis conditions. Initial assessments have shown that they have optical and electrical properties typical of semiconductor materials. The advantages of the hydrochemical method - low-temperature synthesis, simple technological process, and high purity - have proven themselves in the preparation of cadmium arsenic compounds. However, there are also limitations of the method: the degree of crystallinity and morphological properties of the precipitates vary depending on the synthesis conditions. Overall, the study shows that cadmium thioarsenite and thioarsenate compounds are promising for the preparation of new functional materials. In future work, it is advisable to study the physicochemical properties of these compounds in a wider range and test their application possibilities in optoelectronics and thermoelectric devices.
