Build Data Centres Out of Clouds — Distributed VPS Running E8 Geometry Replaces Physical Data Centre Infrastructure — E8 Intelligence Research
Andrew Stewart Caldin, May 2026: The industry is asking the wrong question. The question being asked is: where do we build the next large data centre? The correct question is: why does it need to be built at all? The answer is that it does not. You do not build a data centre out of concrete, cooling towers, and industrial power connections. You build it out of clouds. A cloud-native E8 data centre is a distributed network of small VPS instances — commodity cloud servers available from any provider globally — each running E8 geometry natively. There is no building. There is no planning permission. There is no industrial power connection. There is no environmental impact assessment. There is no single point of failure. There is no facility that, if it burns down or loses power, takes the AI with it. The geometry is distributed across every node. Each node holds the same geometric truth. The network is the data centre. WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE IN PRACTICE: Instead of one facility consuming 30 Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK.
