<h3>The goals for this project are</h3> <ol> <li>To avail participation in undergraduate research for all students. It may be the students first exposure to the research process.</li> <li>Address the health and human impacts on the American River and its surrounding ecosystems.</li> <li>Scaffold curriculum so these research experiences are embedded into the formal laboratory course.</li> <li>Include historically excluded groups in research activities.</li> <li>Generate new knowledge related to a real word problem which is health and human impacts on our waterways and surrounding ecosystem.</li> </ol>
