PRACTICAL APPLICATIONS OF THE DEFINITE INTEGRAL IN ENGINEERING AND TECHNICAL PROBLEMS
This article analyzes the geometric meaning of the concept of the definite integral and its practical applications in engineering and technical problems. Methods for calculating areas under curves, determining volumes of bodies, and modeling physical processes using the definite integral are discussed. Integration techniques based on the Newton–Leibniz formula and their practical significance are also considered and supported by examples. The results show that the definite integral is an important tool for simplifying complex engineering problems.
