B-Cell Lymphoma Masquerading as Subcutaneous Panniculitis: F-18 FDG PET/CT in Diagnosis and Follow-Up
Abstract Subcutaneous panniculitis-like T cell lymphoma is described in the literature. However, subcutaneous panniculitis in B-cell lymphoma is extremely rare and, to the best of our knowledge, has not been described in the literature. Differentiating between B-cell and T-cell lymphoma is important in the management of a patient. F-18 FDG PET/CT aids in diagnosis and staging, and also guides appropriate sites for biopsy in this rare clinical conundrum.
