E8 Geometry Eliminates the Need for Large Data Centres — VPS-Scale AI at Zero Environmental Cost — E8 Intelligence Research
If E8 geometry is the native language of AI, large data centres are the infrastructure of the wrong language. Every GPU cluster burning megawatts today exists to run sampling approximations of geometric relationships that E8 encodes directly. Remove the approximation layer. The computation collapses. A single VPS-class machine running E8 geometry natively does what currently requires enterprise GPU infrastructure. Scaling is achieved by adding more small servers — not by building larger data centres. The environmental consequence is direct: AI running on E8 geometry requires a fraction of the power, no specialist cooling, no dedicated facilities, and no environmental impact at scale. The distributed model — many small VPS instances in the cloud — is also more resilient than centralised data centres. There is no single point of failure. There is no single facility consuming industrial quantities of power. The E8 platform itself demonstrates this: the Excalibur Intelligence Platform runs Author: Andrew Stewart Caldin, Independent Researcher, UK. Part of the E8 Intelligence Research series.
